The University of Lausanne recently started a project to study human decisions in a social context.
We are conducting experiments in the Internet in form of games that can be played among volunteers. Each player gets a seed capital from us that he or she can use during the game. Any capital that is left after the game will be payed by us to the player (see also conditions of participation when you register).
If you would like to volunteer, simply register on our website. Among all registrations we will randomly choose several players who will be invited by us through email. Only if you are invited, you will get a password and be able to login and play the game. A game will approximately take 1 hour. Please note: you will need to have Flash Plugin 8 installed on your computer.
IMPORTANT: It is not possible to register and play right away. You need to select a play time that suits your schedule and, if you are selected, you will be invited by email for this specific game. For organizational reasons, please pick a game that is at least one day after your registration.
Thank you for your interest and have fun!
SOCIAL DECISIONS IN THE LAB
We are also running experiments in the lab at the UNIL campus (quartier Sorge), in the Amphipole building. These experiments also take the form of a game between participants in a room.
We are currently running experiments. Send an e-mail to miguel.dossantos@unil.ch to register for one of the sessions.
